Lubb dubb: A heartbeat. A legacy. My story.

Time flies by. Reality sinks in, but memories stay, as crisp as freshly washed linen, and as clear as what is written here.

Checking things out

So hello my friends. Thought I'd come to check what all the hype was about this blogging webpage and I'm hooked! So ignore 'crazyspeedos' for now and stay tuned to this site for updates on me, me and more me. But frequent updates I cannot assure you, but will try my best okay? And please don't pout because Santa is coming to town soon! Yeah!

First of all. A big 'thank you' to two mates who introduced this to me. To Yana, my bestie in Oz and writing mentor, your blog served as an inspiration. Love reading it! It's like having you here and telling me all the stories again! Like what you always did! Like the good old days in SA!Hehe! And to Indah who gave me the lil' push during that English lecture on Friday long past and forgotten, for letting me in on something greater, wilder, and better!

(studying for medsci during my last trip back to KL..was doing cardio. Spot Tortora and Colin)

And so life goes on. Exams are nearly over with three intense one down and one less intense one to go. I said I wished that this week were to be over fast and now it's nearly over, though I'm relieved, I don't feel any great joy. Would be working during the holidays. Got a full time job at S&C and will be working at the Mens Shoes and Luggage. Did I mention that I got transfered from Bed & Bath down there? Humph..not that I despise it, but I was way comfortable selling linen than selling black brogues. Oh well, sometimes things just don't always go your way and all you have to do is just go with the flow and make good things out of it.

The exams have been okay. Preparing for three back to back was crazy enough and having to sit for one of my worst papers first was to take a plunge into hysterica. Physics was bad. Maybe I shouldn't have taken things for granted and just glanced through the theory part and shouldn't have neglected fluid. There were so many questions that I was unsure of. But to hell with that. Medsci on Wednesday was my tranquiliser. It was a perfect paper and though Colin did let me down on his cardio section in Section B, the paper was good over all. A big thumbs up. I have to thank my darling guardian angel for supplying me with past year papers that Peter and Colin withheld as they wanted to create a bank of questions. And yes, a few that came out were past year questions and having to wake up at five to do them (I only got them the evening before the exam), I'm grateful that I got them... it's not illegal is it? Biochem today was so-so. Actually memorising all the chemical structures in fatty acid oxidation and synthesis and breakdown of phenylalanine was insane. But thank god they came out in the exam and my efforts were'nt put to waste.

Okey dokes. Gonna take a shower now, read the lastest Her World mom brought back, get started on 'Men, women, sex, and Darwin' for English and hopefully get some rest.

Oh yes, Yana? Have a ball tomorrow okay? Miss ya!
