It's Graduation week!

First and foremost! VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO MEI MEI! The wacky, superbly hilarious, seriously opinionated girl who I had the privilege to share my two years in NZ with has graduated! And using her tag line: WEEEEEEEEE!! Hope that Friday was an awesome day for you! The weather was beautiful for your grad pics session at Mr. Albert's park and despite telling you I wouldn't make it, due to my tutorial, I did, didn't I? Yes... wasn't going to give you my first born child..plus, just had to check out the cute girl in the pink furry hooded gown. And nope my readers, the pink was actually the nice, shadowy light pink. I was thinking shocking pink when Mei told me the only reason she did a BA was for the colour...but no, the pink was actually a very nice shade. Expect pictures to be up soon! And so Mei has graduated and will be departing NZ soon to settle down back home in KL. Never really said it, but will definitely miss you dearly... thanks for the advice on referencing and Uni life in general, the yummy Turkish lamb for Saturday lunches, the hyterical laughters and deep dinner table talk we girls used to have after Sunday dinners, the dodginess that made life fun, for the push to support UMSA (I know lah, I'm not that loyal a member..and you were the secretary!)... hope you had a smashing time back here and do do come back for holidays!!! MUAX!

And so last week was graduation week. Throughout the entire week, grads were in their gowns with proud parents tagging along, clutching bouquets of flowers in one hand and the proud certificate in the other. It was pretty inspiring actually and no doubt made me think about my graduation...in two years' time. If I'm not mistaken, my hood would be dark blue! Yeah! My favourite colour! And if I keep things up, I should have my Bachelor's the year I turn 21!

That is only two years away..still have a bunch of exams, lab reports, assignments to complete and approximately 1.5 semesters left of my degree. After June the 16, I will be half way done with my BSc. But let's not look so far into the future. The major impending event:

MY 19TH BIRTHDAY ON THE 28TH OF MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last of my teen years...
