CNY is here...la la la

Okay. This will be my last post before the Chinese New Year which means my last post in the Year of the Dog and possibly my last post before I take off for NZ next week..groan.

But on the brighter side, Chinese New Year is here!! Wee!! Somewhat similar to the joy and anticipation that surrounds other festive seasons such as Xmas, Hari Raya etc etc, CNY is the ultimate family, fun, food etc etc time! Really looking forward to everything: the traditional family reunion lunch/dinner, the tangy taste of the mandarins, the never ending games of Mahjong and Blackjack, the firecrackers, New Year delicacies, spending time with cousins, donning on new clothes, and Ang Pows!!!

All right. I actually have no inspiration to write now. I'm a ball of excitement and anticipation all due to the impending CNY.. guess I'll be back with all the CNY happenings soon!

Happy Chinese New Year of the Boar!! Oink oink oink! May it bring great health, wealth and prosperity to us all and let's hope it'll be a grand year for the Dragon!! hehehehhe
